Terms of use

By using Spoiled Rotten you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

• What it is. A free, humorous swatch book about spoiled behaviour in children and how adults might react to it. It is entertainment and general common sense only.
• Not professional advice. Nothing here is parenting, medical, psychological, educational or legal advice. Every child and situation is different. Behaviour that looks “spoiled” can have other causes, such as tiredness, illness, stress or developmental differences. If you are worried about a child, talk to the parents or a qualified professional. In an emergency call 112.
• Be kind. The swatches poke fun at behaviour, not at real children or families. Please don’t use the app or its cards to mock, label, shame or harass a real child or parent.
• Saved cards. You may save and share the cards for personal, non-commercial use, as long as you don’t remove the Spoiled Rotten name and you don’t pair them with a real child’s name or photo. You use and share them at your own responsibility.
• As is. The app is provided free and “as is”, without any warranty. It may contain errors, look different on your device, be unavailable, or change or stop at any time without notice.
• Liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, STUDIO MERLIN, s.p. is not liable for any damage or loss arising from using or not being able to use the app or from acting on its tips, including how a child, parent or anyone else reacts, or what others do with cards you share. As the app is free, our total liability is limited to zero euros.
• Your indemnity. If someone makes a claim against us because of how you used the app or a card, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses.
• What we don’t limit. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent, gross negligence or harm to life or health caused by our fault, or your mandatory consumer rights.
• The design. The app itself (its look, illustrations, code and texts) belongs to STUDIO MERLIN, s.p. Please don’t copy the app.
• Law. Slovenian law applies. Courts in Slovenia have jurisdiction, unless your mandatory consumer rights say otherwise.
• Changes. We may update these terms at any time. The version on this page applies.

Privacy

• We collect nothing you enter. There are no accounts and no forms. Your quiz answers stay in your browser and are never sent to us. Cards are drawn on your device.
• On your device. The app remembers for the current browser session that you have already seen the intro (session storage). It disappears when you close the tab.
• Server logs. Like any website, our server briefly records technical data (IP address, time, page requested, browser type) to keep it running and secure. We don’t use it to identify you. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
• No cookies, no tracking, no ads. So there is no cookie banner.
• Your rights. You can ask us about your data, or to correct or delete it, by writing to tassh@studio-merlin.com. You can also complain to the Slovenian data protection authority: Informacijski pooblaščenec, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si.
